Human trafficking survivor, Niki R. Cross, will be CAHT’s speaker on Monday, November 19 at their general meeting. Founder and president of STAAR Ministry, Ms. Cross passionately uses her voice to share and inspire through her own personal experience as a survivor of human trafficking. As a child, Niki was abused by a relative and then, at the age of 15, was abducted, chained in an attic and assaulted by multiple abusers every day.
Ms. Cross has spent the last 27 years ministering to over a thousand women, often on the local streets in the Tampa Bay area. Ms. Cross is the 2015 Florida Survivor Advocate of the Year and 2016 National Most Unstoppable Woman of the Year Award. Ms. Cross is also a singer/song writer and international author. This is a presentation you don’t want to miss as she will share the trauma victims go through and the healing process for human trafficking survivors.
