Nights of Shimmering Lights is a Magical Delight

The Christmas Season is a busy time for everyone. Don’t you wish, just for an hour or two, you could unplug, take an off ramp from the rat race and just enjoy the Most Wonderful Time of the Year? That’s exactly what Nights of Shimmering Lights is all about. It’s your best memories of Christmas, illuminated, and a chance to create a good, old-fashioned Christmas tradition your family will never forget.

What is Nights of Shimmering Lights?

Here are a dozen ways to describe it to your friends.

Nights of Shimmering Lights is …

Where two miles of illuminated tunnels and themed displays beckon…

Where Christmas Magic Meets Disney Magic…

Where Santa listens to your wishes, wants and alibis…

Where the donuts are warm, fresh and delicious…

Where cuddling is encouraged on the Light Express…

Where you can dive under the sea without ever leaving the car…

Where the Reason and the Season come together…

Where spotting Chris Mouse can mean big prizes…

Where cocoa warms your body as the atmosphere warms your heart…

Where you are reminded of those who will not be home this season…

Where Christmas Village craft vendors have something special for under the tree…

Where the price of two movie tickets will buy you a new holiday tradition everyone will love…

Explore Christmas Village

Your first stop in Christmas Village should be for a bag of warm and delicious Morning Glory Mini Donuts. Just look for the long line. Trust me, they are well worth the wait. The donuts come in two varieties – cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar. Just get both. Seriously.

But save room for the Christmas cookies next door and barbecue around the corner. There’s also something heavenly called a Berry Bowl. Strawberry shortcake on a donut. Yes. They. Did.

Wash all that down with coffee, cocoa or apple cider. Then, with your taste buds hopping and visions of sugary goodness dancing in your head, stop by Santa’s workshop to see Saint Nick.

Hop off the Big Guy’s lap and cruise over to get your tickets for the Light Express, a train ride that gets you up close and personal with all those lights you just drove past.

Then it’s back in the car for part two of the Nights of Shimmering Lights experience. There’s an entire neighborhood full of lights you have yet to see. After countless “oohs” and umpteen “ahhs” you arrive at yet another fork in the road. Time to head home … unless you decide to go ‘round one more time.
