The United Methodist Church of Sun City Center, 1210 Del Webb Blvd. West, welcomes back Tampa area popular jazz artist, Stacey Knights and her band for a Friday night concert October 19, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the church’s LEC venue on campus.
Stacey Knights last packed the house at UMCSCC some three years ago, and is coming back to play her brand of smooth jazz. Stacey has become a favorite of music lovers due to her talent as a writer, vocalist, saxophonist and flutist. She has produced three CDs as a professional artist, containing mostly original music. In 2006, she was named a “Best Emerging Artist” by American Idol magazine. Stacey has headlined festivals and performed openers for such major smooth jazz artists as Peter White, Richard Elliot, Chuck Mangione, and Spyro Gyra among others. Her CDs have received airplay in over 150 markets across the United States, and she has been interviewed by numerous college and mainstream radio stations and television networks across the country.
A donation of only $10 is requested at the door on the night of the concert.
