Nashville Hall of Fame Legends Returning to Sun City Center
The United Methodist Church of Sun City Center, 1210 Del Webb Blvd. West, welcomes Nashville Music Hall of Famer and legend, Charlie McCoy, International Gospel Hall of Fame legend Rich Kiser, along with Jason Coleman, concert pianist and grandson of legendary pianist Floyd Cramer. All three will return to the stage in the Church’s sanctuary Friday evening, February 22, 2019 for a 7 p.m. concert.
Charlie McCoy is well known in music circles as Nashville’s most prolific studio session musician. He’s a Grammy-Award winning artist who has literally played most every musical instrument on thousands of sessions and recordings with the biggest names in the world of country and rock music.
Rich Kiser has won over 70 major awards during his music career, including Country Gospel Music Association’s “Artist of the Year” Award (3 times), the International Country Gospel Music Association’s “Instrumentalist of the Decade” Award and was inducted into the Country Gospel Music Association’s Hall of Fame in Branson, Missouri in 2009.
Jason Coleman is a concert pianist in his own right and has given a rebirth to the slip note piano style of his legendary grandfather, Floyd Cramer.
Tickets can be purchased for a $5 discount in advance for $15 at the United Methodist Church main office 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or 8:30 a.m. to noon on Fridays prior to the Feb 22 concert. Admission at the door on the night of the concert will be $20.
