“Ever since we moved here,” exclaimed one resident, “we’ve come every week.”  After two months of expansion work, German restaurant and local favorite, Old Castle reopened to packed crowds.  “There aren’t any places nearby you can get decent beer on tap,” remarked another resident.

Old Castle remains familiar with some neat changes.  The original section has added some benches, while the newer section has raised seating, group sections and extended bar seating.  Each section has a unique feel.

There a several new items on the menu and a big increase in the number of beer offerings.  The expanded indoor seating and menu will give Old Castle a big advantage during Oktoberfest, always celebrated by the restaurant on the first weekend of October.  A local favorite has successfully reinvented itself.
